Yes. Bill acceptor, bill validator, and dollar bill acceptor are interchangeable terms for the device that authenticates and stacks paper currency in a vending machine.
Why is my bill acceptor rejecting bills?
Common causes include dirty optical sensors, worn belts, a full stacker, or denomination settings that do not match the bills being inserted. Newer currency designs can also cause problems for older validators.
What does a flashing light on my bill validator mean?
Most validators report faults through a flash code, such as a jam, a full stacker, or a sensor error. If clearing the bill path and emptying the stacker does not clear the code, the validator should be sent in for diagnosis.
